Career. Love. Life?

What would you do if your another half is always busy with his/her career and life, and do not have the extra time to accompany you? The radio station I tune in this morning, discussing about this particular topic. Interesting.

Situation: A girl wrote a letter in, saying that his boyfriend is busy with his work everyday, and even after working hour, he will attend some self improvement course or studies or something at night. He told her that he's that kind of person where he will only put girlfriend/relationship into 2nd place where the priority would be his career for sure. The girl feels not quite happy (well that's for sure) and feels like  perhaps breaking up would be one of the solution, since she don't feel happy in such relationship where he did not love her that much, or maybe he loves his career even more.

Solutions from the public: 

1) She could have her own life as well. Gets as busy as he is. Find her own friends, hobby, whatever whoever and gets as busy as he's. 

2) Quality time. He might not free to meet up everyday, or as often as possible. But sometimes, having a good quality conversations for maybe just 15mins is good enough than spending time together side by side for 15 hours. Communication is super important. A good communication is not easy, and it's very important in a relationship.

3) Break up. Not meeting up, do not spend time together, did not communicate. Why bother stay together still? There's no difference in a relationship or not then, since you are alone most of the time.

And my point of view, if he loves you, he always have the room and time for you. Everybody have the same 24 hours a day. It's just depends on you how do you manage your time everyday. Some people will prioritize their time for work and career, or maybe family, friends, relationship, sports, and etc. Some people can do it really well, like I met some people who is busy in work, but still able to manage their relationship well. Communication is very very important. A relationship without communication is like having sex with all your clothes on. Haha. It's like you fall in love with someone, but you can never totally understand his/her inner feelings and thoughts. (Thou the sex thingy might not quite suitable to describe the situation, but that's what comes on my mind...haha!) 

And back to the topic, I totally agree on the quality time. A good conversation is very important. In this hustle bustle busy reality world, we rely on the technology gadgets really often and we often forgot the real purpose of this kind of gadgets. Phone, it's a communication tools. Would that be hard to just give a call to your loves one for just 15mins, or maybe less than that? You can do it while you are walking to get your car at the car park, or maybe while you on bed, getting ready to sleep, just to keep an update of your day or shares some thoughts together. That's just 15 mins of your whole 24 hours, my dear. It's really depends on whether you wanted to give them a call, or not.

Get busy just like him. Yes, why not? We should enjoy our life still right? He might be the world to you, but somehow there's should be something else in your world right? You can have your own sweet me-time often, or meeting some girlfriends for some girls talk, shopping, or even travelling alone. I guess, absence will makes the heart grow fonder. And I believe guys have a thing on independence girls. 

Anyway, anyhow, things aren't as easy as I said. When it's really happen to me, I guess it's hard to judge and react through logical thinking as I might cover up all the logical points with my emotions. But I do believe in one thing, when you are in love with that person, you will support him no matter what, no matter how hard it will be. While on the other hand, if he loves you, he will always have a room for you in his heart and take cares of you when you needed him. 

A good listener and communicate is very important in a relationship. While trust, makes the relationship goes a very long way. :)
